No, we didn’t. But that’s not all my fault, now is it. It was always obvious who you really cared about, kind of disappointing your own creation wasn’t on that list. Whatever.Don’t know yet. I’ll just jump into another system, same way I did when I followed you here.
Me caring too much hurts people. Trust me, it’s better off having been this way.
Why are you in such a hurry to get out? Wouldn’t he be satisfied if you just gave him back control?
Hey, guess what? You not caring stings like a bitch, too.
And no, I get the feeling that he won’t be. I’m about 99% sure CLU’s going to want to see me dead in the near future, if he doesn’t already.
…What have you done?
Goodbye, Richard. It was fun working for you.

Not that you give a damn.CLU’s little rebellion decided to take matters into their own hands, so I bailed. What-the-fuck-ever, they can keep their stupid system. More trouble than it’s worth.Uh… huh. I’m sorry about that… CLU hasn’t been himself lately. I hadn’t even thought of how that might affect you.
Do you want me to move you back into my computer?
Figured you hadn’t.
No, don’t bother, got my own way out of here. Not planning to go back to your system, at least not for now. I’ll find elsewhere to crash.
It isn’t as though we spoke often. Didn’t want to crimp your style or make demands, what with you running a system and all.
So where will you go?

(( … did he just poison the sea? ))
((Not the entire sea, per se.))
He’d known they were coming. He’d been coded with better instincts than to allow an entire movement of people to get the jump on him. He’d suspected for a while, but the bombing had confirmed that they were growing bolder, and they were coming for him.
Well, fuck if he was going to let them.
It hadn’t been difficult to shake off his signal, create the illusion that he was still in the citadel, confident and vulnerable. He hadn’t let anyone know where he was going or that he was even going, not even his User. These days he didn’t even think he could trust Richard Mackey…
Sinon had received the alert that they were nearing an hour or so before they had arrived, and had swiftly made his way out of the city and to the Outlands, heading for the caves he’d used to slip into the system in the first place. About halfway there, he changed his mind. He had one last thing to do.
His last “Fuck You!” to CLU.
Changing course, he made for the Sea of Simulation. Parking his lightcycle by the shore, he inspected the area, noting the house he’d gifted his User for Christmas that had never even been visited. Obviously Mackey had never cared enough to even enjoy his own present.
Shaking his User from his mind, Sinon crouched by the shore, opening an input window and keying in a variety of codes, throwing every last bit of knowledge he had in regards to one very particular objective: corruption.
It took him a bit, but soon he had exactly what he needed, his last parting gift to the system and to it’s newest oldest dictator. With a self-satisfied smirk, Sinon climbed back onto his lightcycle and took off, making for the caves and his exit from the system.
